Software and gadgets that I use and recommend.

My opinion is that in order to be productive it is good to be aware of the latest gadgets and software that make your work easier. These are some of my favorite things.

Workstation

  • 16” HP Victus 16-r0002nx, i7-13700H, 32GB RAM (2024)

    I was using a Dreammachines laptop prior to this with the same configuration, but unfortunately it was stolen and I had to buy another laptop that would meet my requirements. It turns out that HP is really doing its job and I haven’t had any problems with it so far.

  • Steelcase Amia 2 Chair

    I always had the worst ergonomic position imaginable all day, I might as well do it in an expensive chair.

Development tools

  • IntelliJ IDEA

    I’ve worked with it since college, I always prefer it to eclipse or VS Code, but I can handle them too.

  • GitHub and GitLab

    Already with a famous notoriety, they need no introduction. I use GitHub for introductory, personal projects, and if one turns out well, I switch to GitLab for the CI/CD system and deployment process.

  • Vercel

    I’m using Vercel and NextJS for every website I develop personally.

Design

  • Photoshop

    I’m using photoshop for image processing and it seems to me the best tool in this sector.

  • Canva

    I’ve started using Canva years ago to make my resume for my first job, but in the meantime it has become a very important tool for graphic design.
